 Doug Nervik
Doug Nervik is a New York based performer, concentrating in improvisational comedy and music.
As a character comedian his portrayals of Donald Trump, Dr. Phil, Groucho Marx, and many others have brought smiles to the faces of executives of Fortune 500 companies for years. He has written and performed for national meetings of State Farm, Canon, IBM, WaMu, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and countless others. With The First Amendment Comedy Troupe, Doug played a successful two weeks at the famed Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and as the Musical Director for The National Touring Company of the improv/comedy company Chicago City Limits he has traversed the country performing at colleges, universities, and civic theaters. His voice is heard on commercials for CarMax, Linens and Things, CitiBank, and more.
He has performed his own evenings of songs, stories, and poems in New York City, and spends Wednesday afternoons singing with Senior Citizens in Greenwich Village at The Caring Community Center. When not performing or writing, Doug can be seen walking the streets of his beloved city conducting walking tours of Manhattan. |
